I played some tunes on the rooftop of the newly opened Wayfarer DTLA. There’s not a ton of binding threads for this set. Just whatever I wanted, and it felt nice.

Mentawais Indonesia on Psychadelic Blues 35mm
I'll be dumping all of my Menatwais photos here in the blog, beginning with this roll of psychedelic blues pre-fogged 35mm I highly recommend. The surprise here is a major component of the fun, right? The Mentawais archipelago is a part of the greater Indonesian archipelago off the western coast of Sumatra. These images are dear to my heart and although the seeming gimmick of the pre-fogged coloration, they somehow accurately depict the feel of the trip – the raw emotion of a place so foreign, and unique, but friendly and inviting. The smiles will be with me forever.

A quick shoot for LowKey Studio
Friends LowKey Studio, a Swiss vintage-fashion-collective-of-sorts, recently wrapped a month-long pop-up shop on Melrose at HVW8 Gallery (I've never used so many hyphens in one sentence). Their month was peppered with special events and collaborations, several of which involved limited, rare, or single-piece apparel projects. I shot Rayne Ivanushka in 3 looks, each involving one of the collaborators. The first look was with from talented artist Blanda Eggenschweiler—a tee with a limited run design screenprint paired with oversized overalls embroidered with additional Blanda illustrations and patches. The second look was head to toe vintage Missoni Sport, hand-picked across Europe by LowKey. The third was all about a limited SangBleu (design agency) x LowKey reversible tee.
