I'll be dumping all of my Menatwais photos here in the blog, beginning with this roll of psychedelic blues pre-fogged 35mm I highly recommend. The surprise here is a major component of the fun, right? The Mentawais archipelago is a part of the greater Indonesian archipelago off the western coast of Sumatra. These images are dear to my heart and although the seeming gimmick of the pre-fogged coloration, they somehow accurately depict the feel of the trip – the raw emotion of a place so foreign, and unique, but friendly and inviting. The smiles will be with me forever.
