Throwback Funky Jam: Ping Pong Summer
Three years ago I had the privilege and distinctly weird and unique experience to work on the film Ping Pong Summer in my hometown of Ocean City Maryland. With Hurricane Sandy beginning it's menacing looking path toward the Northeast, and a production schedule that had me trying to 'liven-up' the locations with 1985 appropriate vehicles, well past the summer season in Maryland, pressure was high.
Michael Tully's coming-of-age nostalgia piece was in its last week of production by this point in 2012, and by the end of the week, the wrap-party crescendo was met with not only a massive Halloween party, but the first squalls and downpours of the legendary Hurricane.
