A friend took over Artist Relations for the famed flagship dj software and hardware brand. I photographed J. Period and Stro Eliot as they rehearsed routines for a series of shows in DC at the Smithsonian, as well as a live mix from bright and bouncy future-bass genre-bender starRo. In harmony with the launch of their Roland X Serato DJ 808 collaboration and their continued rapid growth, it has been a busy launch to their DTLA artist outreach studio space.

My bud Two Shoes opened up for German star Robin Schulz on Tuesday at San Diego's BANG BANG. It was a short strike mission for us. We had to be up early. The goal was to generate some good photo content for his new site launching this week, www.djtwoshoes.com.

As the road trip grinded on and on the days melted together. We went from Austin to Denver, and then Boulder briefly. Boulder to Vegas was one of the most terrifying and demanding legs of the slog, but we were so road weary it didn't even matter—barely phased us. Finally, and less one of our trio, we limped into LA.
